Wednesday, October 15, 2008 — 7:30 pm
Emerald Coast Conference Center

With multi Grammy wins, collaborations with the most sought after artists in the industry and over five decades of producing a repertoire more than 600 songs, including “Killing Me Softly with His Song,” and “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” Ms. Flack will make her Northwest Florida debut.

“We are so fortunate that Ms. Flack has an opening in her busy schedule to help us offer an amazing musical experience to our patrons,” stated Music Director Demetrius Fuller.

Ms. Flack will join Maestro Fuller and the region’s only professional orchestra to transport the audience through the decades of her countless number one hits.

*Originally scheduled to appear, Natalie Cole has been forced to cancel her tour dates due to illness.

Travel back in time with Sinfonia in the debut of Classical Connections as we explore the great foundations of the classical repertoire. Conductor/pianist, Daniel Wachs, will play and conduct from the piano in Beethoven's triumphant first piano concerto. Maestro Fuller brings the performance to a brilliant close in the regional premiere of Ludwig's witty fourth
symphony.
